Hi there! I’m Ryan, 26 years old, from Scotland. I work as a Sustainable Food and Agriculture Consultant and live on my family’s dairy, beef and sheep farm. I previously studied plant science before doing a graduate scheme which saw me working throughout the UK food supply chain. I then did a MSc in Food Security which inspired me to tackle the challenges of sustainable food production. I’m passionate about improving the sustainability of agriculture and the wider food system and I believe that rebalancing farmers’ position is essential to achieving this. My work as a consultant has reinforced the idea that there can be no sustainability without equity, so my goal on the COCOREADO project is to help address this!
