On May 10, 2024, the picturesque city of Pärnu, Estonia, played host to the event aimed at presenting the outcomes of the Cocoreado project.
The event kicked off with a presentation of the Cocoreado project. This introductory session set the stage for a day filled with engaging activities and discussions designed to foster understanding about the Cocoreado project and collaboration among the participants.
The morning sessions included a “Get to know each other and Cocoreado” activity, followed by a detailed exploration of the educational materials developed through the project. These sessions not only introduced the attendees to the project’s core concepts but also encouraged interaction and networking among the diverse group of young leaders. Among the participants was Cocoreado ambassador from Finland, Enni Liinoja who shared few words about her experience as the Cocoreado ambassador.
After that, the focus shifted to an in-depth presentation of the educational materials. This was a crucial segment, as it provided participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to further disseminate and use the project’s results in their respective regions.
The afternoon was dedicated to a discussion on the key takeaways from the day and how these insights could be applied to the participants’ ongoing work. This session was particularly important as it aimed to ensure that the knowledge gained would be effectively utilized and spread throughout the rural communities represented at the event.
The event was attended by 25 participants from 13 different countries, representing rural youth and young farmers organizations as well as 4H clubs bringing together diverse and dynamic group. This diverse representation underscored the event’s importance as a platform for international collaboration and exchange of best practices within the Cocoreado project.
The dissemination event in Pärnu was more than just a presentation; it was a strategic initiative to ensure the longevity and impact of the COCOREADO project’s outcomes. By bringing together young leaders from various rural communities, the event aimed to create a ripple effect extending far beyond the project.
